The Skardu Valley is located in Gilgit-Baltistan in Pakistan, on the Indus River which separates the Karakoram Range from the Himalayas. Surrounded by the peaks of the Karakoram, the Skardu Valley is a gateway for travelers hiking into the mountain range. Three mountain ranges meet in the Gilgit-Baltistan region—the Karakoram, the Himalayas, and the Hindu Kush—and is treasured by mountaineering enthusiasts, high-altitude trekkers, and tourists for the majestic views and hiking trails.
After Jaglot on the Karakoram Highway, a narrow road turns towards Skardu. During the seven-hour journey, one is greeted with several streams, springs, and the hospitality of the local people. Soon after crossing the old wooden bridge built over the River Indus, one reaches Shangrila.
Skardu is famous for the many trekking and adventure spots around it. There are numerous treks starting from Skardu. The nearby Satpara Lake and Shangri-la resort are very famous among local travelers and are visited by people from all over the country during June & July school holidays.
The Skardu region has four of the world’s fourteen Eight-thousand peaks (8,000 m and above) which makes it a heaven for trekkers expeditions enthusiasts and mountain climbers. The main tourist season is from April to October.
Askole and Hushe Valleys are the main gateways to the snow-covered 8,000 m peaks including Mashabum, K2, the Gasherbrums, Broad Peak and the Trango Towers, and also to the huge glaciers of Baltoro, Biafo, and Trango.

Pick up from Islamabad airport and departure for Naran (Approx.06 hrs Drive).

Day 02: Naran-Skardu
After breakfast departure for Skardu (approx. 08 hrs drive) en route viewpoint of 3 Mountain Ranges Junction drive to Skardu.
Overnight Stay at a hotel in Skrad.
Day 03: Skradu
After breakfast departure to visit Upper Kachura lake, lower Kachura lake and Sokh Nala.

Day 04: Skardu
After breakfast visit Katpana Desert and Sarfaranga Desert later visit Khilingrong Mosque and Ambruiq Mosque in Shiger valley.

After breakfast departure for Deosai plains (approx. 03 ½ hrs.) en-route visit Sadpara lake and Bara Pani Bridge Sheosar lake.
